There are lots of different website builders available and so it is not surprising that many people find it a bit confusing knowing which one they should use. We have therefore picked three of the most popular ones and reviewed them for you, showing you what features might be appealing and therefore it will help you to decide which one is likely to be the best for your needs.

Squarespace

Squarespace has a lot of templates and that means that it is really easy to find a design that you will like. It also allows you to customise them which means that you will be able to make a unique looking website. There is the ability to set up an ecommerce site as well, which means that you can easily sell things and you are able to try it out for a few weeks before you have to pay for it, which will give you the chance to test it out. You will also get features available such as galleries, blogs, calendars and more general pages as well, which means that you will be able to add all sorts of interesting things to your website. The builder has modern browsers and mobile devices in mind, which means that you should find that it will work well whatever platform it is being viewed on. There is really good customer service as well, so even if you are new to using web builders you will be able to feel confident as you know that you will be able to get help if you need it. A first-time user will get a free domain name for a year as well.

Wix

Wix has lots of users, probably the most out of all web builders. It has an unstructured editor, which makes it stand out from other web builders. It has drag and drop, so it is very easy to use and you can place things anywhere, which means that you have the opportunity to be really creative. There are lots of themes and templates to choose, from which vary a lot so you can pick something that you like, but you will be able to customise it a lot and this means that it is possible for you to get a really unique look for your site. There is a free plan as well, which means that you can try it out before you buy. You can stay on the free plan but it has limited bandwidth and you cannot attach your own domain name but it is unlimited so you can play around with it for as long as you like. There are also lots of SEO features which means that your site should come up high in search engines. You also have the option of adding an ecommerce shop as well.

Weebly

Weebly has a simple drag and drop system which means that it is really easy to use. It is also priced well and that means that it is a popular option. It has a built-in educational system which explains things as you go along and so it will make it even easier to put together your first website using it. The themes are all responsive to mobile devices which is extremely useful. It has a blog feature and the blog will have the same theme as your website. There is SSL included in the more expensive packages. There is a good newsletter function which you can use with your own email address if you do not want to sign up for one. It is possible to make changes to meta keywords, titles and descriptions on every page so that that work well for SEO purposes. There is a free version that you can try out, which will not have all of the features of the paid versions but still allows you to have a go before you pay.

So, you can see that these three web builders have lots of interesting features. You may find that one will be more appealing to you because it provides more of what you think you might need and want. You will also find that they will vary in price and you will need to think about what you can afford and which will give you better value for money. It could be better to pay out a bit more money if it means that you get more features that you need or want, so it is important to have a think about this and work out what you need and which looks the best for that.
